REMOTE CONTROL

Remote Control is the most important device that we look for when we enter the house.  You feel you are right on top of the world when you have the remote control in your hand.  For all the appliances today there is a remote control.  Television sets, sound systems, washing machines, microwave ovens, FM Radio, CD Player, DVD Player and every other home appliance is operated through remote control.

Technology advancement over the last couple of decades has made it possible for us to control not only appliances but even business operations through remote control.  Remote Access for systems was very difficult about ten years ago but it is very simple today.

Without being physically present we are able to control some of the business operations and even family matters - there is no remote control on hand but we have other ways and means of exercising the control remotely.  Telephone, email, internet, chat, facebook, skype, sms, mms and I really do not know how many other means of communication is today opened up for us to be connected.  These technology devices have made it easy for controlling things remotely.

I like remote control cars and I enjoy watching the way the cars operate when directed and controlled by the remote control.  See this sample remote control car chase below:

How much of control can we exercise in our lives through remote control.  Having remote control on hand or trying to remotely control operations or family is a long shot.  There is nothing better than personal touch and I feel the personal touch could yield far better results.  While using remote control for home appliances or for toy cars and toy helicopters is fine, we should not extend it to all other facets of life.

Have a nice weekend.  Control your lives directly without depending much on Remote Controls.

Read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Click_%282006_film%29

  2. Hi Anand

Great article - so true - both in business & in personal matters - I don't think a misunderstanding with ur kids or wife can be solved over Skype.

    Best Regards
