TIME

Time is the greatest and best resource we have in our hands.  But unfortunately it does not stay in our hands as it keeps flying all the time.  Time Management has become the essence of life.  GOD has given all of us equal amount of time which is 24 hours a day.  Irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, age, education, background and what not - we all have just 24 hours in a day.

A third of the time available is spent in sleeping which is the most essential part of our 24 hour cycle.  With the remaining 16 hours at our disposal we could do so many things and achieve a lot for ourselves and for the people around us.

I have often heard people say "I dont have the time".  I have experienced it myself when I have not been able to do certain things as per my plan due to lack of time.  We cannot create time but we could utilise the time available in the best possible manner.  Effective and productive use of the available time is the key to success.  Whilst that is easily said it is equally important for us to balance the day with work, leisure, exercise, entertainment, etc.

There is no fixed formula for Time Management as the time available and activities to be performed during the day will differ from person to person.  The most important thing is the realisation of the fact that "Time is precious and time lost cannot be regained".

I have tried to channelise the time available during the day and kept myself busy but never felt satisfied as there always is something remaining to be done or attended to.  Time keeps flying on a daily basis and hence managing it is a daily task.

L.R.ESWARI

L.R.Eswari has a very unique voice and has rendered some memorable songs which will live for several centuries.  She gave life to the songs with her expressions, dynamism and special vocal powers.  Born in 1939 this legendary singer got her break in films in 1958 through K.V.Mahadevan.  She became popular in 1961 with her evergreen song Vaarayo Thozhi Varaayo in Paasamalar.  Pattathu Raani paarkuma paarvai and Kaadoduthaan naan paaduven add up to the Vaarayo thozhi vaarayo to make the top three songs of LR Eswari of all times.  These three songs will last for several centuries and will be remembered as greatest songs at all times.

The following are some of the greatest songs of LR Eswari that I like and listen to from time to time:
  1. Kaadoduthaan naan paaduven
  2. Pattathu raani paarkum paarvai
  3. Vaarayo thozhi varaayo mana pandal kaana vaarayo
  4. Elanthapazham

  11. Inimai niraintha ulagam irrukku
  12. Palinginaal oru maaligai
  13. Kattodu kuzhalaada aada
  14. Adadaa enna azhaghu aruge vanthu pazhagu
  15. Kannirandum Minna minna
  16. Angam puduvitham
  17. Kallellam maanikka kallaagumaa (she has done only humming on this song)
  18. Unadhu malar kodiyile enadhu malar madiyile
  19. Ammamma keladi thozhi
  20. Yaarodum pesakkoodathu
  21.  Vandaal ennodu inge vaa thendrale
I have heard her devotional songs as a child and grew up hearing them regularly.  Some of the top devotional songs of LR Eswari are:
  1. Maariamma engal maariamma unnai vanangugirom karumaariamma
  2. Karpoora naayagiye kanakavalli
  3. Chellatha chella maariaathaa
  4. Karunai ullam kondavale karumaariamma
  5. Thaaye karumaari
The greatness and versatility of LR Eswari  is unmatched in the film industry.  At the age of 72 she has sung "Kalasala kalasala" song in Osthi in 2011.  Long Live LR Eswari and her songs.

OPPORTUNITY

The optimist sees opportunity in every danger; the pessimist sees danger in every opportunity.

The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment, it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone.

When written in Chinese, the word "crisis" is composed of two characters one represents danger, and the other represents opportunity.

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

Opportunity presents itself at our door steps.  It is for us to grab it and make the most of it.
